Fillies rock out
February 27, 2014
From Back in Black by ACDC to Tiny Dancer by Elton John, Fillies Follies was an interesting and lively experience of singing, and dancing.
Junior Madisyn Mullett, the Fillies captain, had a great time dancing, and preparing for the show.
“It took a lot of preparation in a short amount of time,” Mullett said. “It was tiring, but in the end it was all worth it.”
The performance was not only highlighted by the Fillies, but Honor Guard as well. The Honor Guard was led by William Crouch dressed as a cop from the YMCA dance, and James Marsh performing an oddly impressive ballet-like dance. The crowd also, was an interesting group of people; when Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen call the spectators burst into singing.
“I feel like the team did really well, and worked as a unit, and I’m really proud of how well we did with such a short amount of time to practice,” Mullett said.
