Trent Owens

Trent Owens is involved in orchestra, honor guard, and graphic design. He plays the cello and is normally first chair in the Sinfonia Orchestra. He won Outstanding Musician sophomore year, a natural award because he said, “I’ve always loved music.” He picked up the cello at an early age and has been playing for eight years. He was inspired to join honor guard by watching previous members pumping up the crowd, not caring what others thought. For Owens, graphic design has been a growing interest. He got took the class accidentally, but now wants to attend either Texas Tech or Texas State University to major in Business Administration and minor in Commercial Art, a type of graphic designing. His favorite memories of DHS include Homecoming 2010 and going to the playoffs in football. Aside from school he loves to dance and do stuff with his church.
