Girls Basketball Wraps Up Season

The Girl’s basketball team successfully made it to playoffs once again, and with 4 seniors that played big roles, they have a lot of spots to fill for next year. Senior Alex Bradley concluded her career as a Bronco, and is ready to pass the torch to the leaders of the team next season.

“Next year’s team is definitely going to have to put in a lot of work this off season to be able to compete at the level of talent in our district,” Bradley said. “Taylor Pierce pushes me to leave it all on the court by being a great example, and defensive leader. Her rebounding efforts were impeccable and I strive to play like her.”

Although the senior class is leaving, the returners, such as junior Taylor Howell, are coming back to lead the way to another playoff run.

“I think we all played important roles as a team,” Howell said. “Everyone had a job to do. This off season we will need to get in the gym and practice harder. The seniors helped the whole team get better by playing hard in games and at practice.”

Along with Howell, junior Eden Davis also had another year to learn, and grow with her teammates.

“I think I did okay this season, but there is always room for improvement,” Davis said. “I think the team next year will be good, but we have some work to do.”
