Orchestra’s Superior Ratings Earn Sweepstakes

Symphony and Chamber Orchestras performed at the Region 2 UIL Concert and Sight Reading Festival on March 2. Both groups received the Sweepstakes Award which is bestowed only to groups that receive a Superior rating both on the concert stage and in the sight reading portions of the festival.


According to Julianne Booth, Director of Orchestras, students represented the school as well-mannered, respectful young adults, whichin her opinion “is just as important as their outstanding performances!”
