Mission Statement: The Horseshoe strives to connect all Broncos and positively include, inform, and engage students in their education and the community around them.

Students in the Advanced Publications Classes take sole responsibility for The Horseshoe, including content and coverage. The ideas expressed in The Horseshoe, both in print and online, are solely those of the individuals providing them, and do not necessarily reflect the opinion of the staff, adviser, faculty, administration, or the Denton ISD School Board.

The Horseshoe, a Denton High School Student Publication, is the official student news site and newspaper of Denton High School. Editorials, cartoons and advertising content are not endorsements of the staff, adviser, or administration.

The Horseshoe is a member of the Interscholastic League Press Conference, a division of the University Interscholastic League, the Quill and Scroll National Journalism Honor Society, the National Scholastic Press Association and the Columbia Scholastic Press Association.
