Bill Smith ran for 125 yards on 19 carries and Jack Jones threw for 185 yards, but it wasn’t enough as the Freshman Purple Team fell 22-12 to Burleson Centennial.
The Broncos two scores both came from Cameron Williams. The first was an 80 yard kick-off return and the other a 99 yard run.
Jones completed 8 of his 12 passes on the night with four of them going to Mike Smith for 65 yards. Harold Smith led the defense with nine tackles.
