Nine compete in North American Computational Linguistics Olympiad at UNT
On Jan. 28, students from across the U.S. and Canada participated with only the top 10 percent to advance to the next round.
Of almost 2,000 participants, sophomore Eleanor Halbert advanced to the second round which will take place on March 10. The top eightstudents from the second round will advance to the international competition this July in India.
Lauren Edwards, Marguerite Hunter, Sydney Rollins, Aidan Dalrymple, Daria Moore, Amaya Herrington, Yvette Han and Kolt Bundy also competed.
