Miley Cyrus’s new album Bangerz bombed in the ratings according to multiple sources.  Critics acclaim that it is “a disjointed mess that seeks to provoke instead of delight”, according to Jim Farber with the New York Daily News.  The entire album is a mess, ironically “Get it right” and “Love Money Party”, were some of the worst songs.

Cyrus like her album has been in a complete free fall from the start. Ever since her change in image from Hannah Montana it has been catastrophic. She used to have an all kid fan base. Many worry with this new transformation that her previous fans, which were mostly children, will still follow her outlook and mimic her. Cyrus’s new album serves to be more than a self-diluted image of wanting to be different. It serves more as a message of how a child star will need to grow up sometime and depending on how they were first perceived is hard to change.

The image she built from as a child star is hard to change from what she is slowly becoming. This is slowly becoming a problem with child superstars such as Lindsay Lohan. Cyrus the virus is becoming her new nickname.  As for her album, that will just stick to being called terrible.
